Head Coach Alan Dils

On Senior Day

"Conor has been doing it all year. He did it Friday and today. It is good to see Jadon get back in at the number one spot and do a good job and get a `W' for us. They did a great job in doubles as well so my hat's off to them. It has been four years with these guys and it just seems like it happened yesterday when they were freshman and they were both very skinny and nerdy. Now they are getting ready to move on with their lives."

On match atmosphere

"We had to be better than we were on Friday. We were very disappointed with Friday and it was better that they came out and focused and played to win. I have the word "Pride" written on my hand and I had everybody write that. We are working for a conference championship ring. I don't think we played with pride on Friday and today we did and the results speak for themselves. Fresno State is a good team and very dangerous. If you give them a little ground to work with, they can beat you. They have beaten some good teams this year. For us to win, that means we played with pride today and that has to be the minimum every time we step on the court."

On Jadon Phillips' come-from-behind win in the second set

"I didn't get to see it except for the score being changed. He got down early in the second and came back and that is when he played with pride. I think on Friday he kind of rolled over on that but today he said, `I'm not going to take that anymore' and won the match with five straight games."

Senior Conor Berg

On dual match win

"It feels really good and I'm satisfied with the whole effort from not just the guys on the court but also from the guys on the sideline cheering. We really believed in ourselves today and it was a good match. I'm proud of Jadon too. He played really well."

On last home match

"There is a little bit of emotion. I was just trying to stay focused. I was giving it everything I had because I knew it was the last match I'll ever play on these courts. That is a little bit emotional but I really just wanted to take it with everything I had. I wanted to come out with good focus every point and believe in myself and I think I did that and I'm satisfied with the results."

Senior Jadon Phillips

On comeback in second set to win five straight games and the match

"The first set I knew I had to come out strong. He is a great player. He moved up in his lineup and had a good win against Air Force last weekend. I knew I had to bring out my best game. He got up in the second set 5-2 but I wanted to fight as hard as I could and stay in the match. That is what I did."

On Senior Day win

"I was very happy. There was a lot of energy surging through my body and I wanted to get the win on my last match here at home. That is what I did. It feels good but it is a bittersweet moment. I am more happy than sad right now."
