Dominique Romero enters his second season as the Director of Operations for the New Mexico Men's Soccer program. Romero will handle the program's day-to-day operations, including but not limited travel plans, external website maintenance and will assist in the development of Lobo soccer marketing plans.
Romero is a 2010 graduate of the University of New Mexico and a former member (2006-09) of the soccer program. Since graduating, he has used his undergraduate degree in communications to pursue freelance work in web editing, and has also done marketing work for the mentoring institute at UNM.
Prior to joining the Lobos, Romero was a soccer standout at La Cueva High School and for the Albuquerque Bandeleros club team, which advanced to U-18 National Championships in 2006. He was also a member of state and regional Olympic Development Program.
He earned his bachelor's degree from New Mexico in Communications.
