New Mexico: A former walk-on to the program in the summer of 2012 who ended up with a scholarship after the 2013 season ... vying for the starting tight end position in the fall ... played both as a true freshman and a sophomore ... has added 23 pounds since coming to UNM as a wide receiver in 2012 ... made the transition from wide receiver to tight end in 2013 .... shows a willingness to mix it up with bigger defensive linemen on blocking plays, despite his lean stature at the tight end position ... a 2012 and 2013 Academic All-Mountain West selection who was also named a MW Scholar-Athlete in 2012-2013 ... has earned two New Mexico Man awards, on Oct. 6, 2012 vs. Texas State and on Aug. 31, 2013 vs. UTSA.

2014 (Junior Season): Played in all 12 games, and made 11 starts for the Lobos this season ... finished the season with eight catches for 124 yards, and one touchdown ... his touchdown reception came in the fourth quarter against NMSU, and gave the Lobos the lead in the final seconds ... recorded three catches for 47 yeards against Boise State ... also made two kickoff returns for a total of 30 yards. 

2013 (Sophomore Season): Played in all 12 games with four starts as the Lobos used a double-tight end set to start ... finished with four receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown ... caught a career-long 50-yard pass for a touchdown against Colorado State.

2012 (True Freshman Season): Played five games for the Lobos, mostly on special teams ... served as the New Mexico Man (a weekly award to the walk-on who exhibits the dedication, work ethic, team spirit and unselfishness that exemplifies Lobo football and the state of New Mexico) on Oct. 6 vs. Texas State.
