SOPHOMORE (2014): Named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List, which is given each year to the best shortstop in the nation … started 41 games and hit .314 (43-for-137) with 26 runs and 19 RBIs … missed 17 games due to a pair of hamstring injuries … had 12 multi-hit games, an eight-game hitting streak from March 14 to March 23 and a six-game streak, with four multi-hit games, from Feb. 23 to March 4 … during the six-game streak he hit .500 (11-for-22) with five runs and four RBIs … scored a season-high three runs against Northern Colorado on March 1 and followed that with a season-high three RBIs the very next day against the Bears … collected a season-high four hits against Northern Illinois on Feb. 21 … finished the season with eight HBPs, which gives him 23 for his career, tied for ninth most in UNM history … set a career-high with nine assists in the field against San Diego State on May 3 … second on the team with 150 assists.
