NEW MEXICO: A junior college transfer with a redshirt year under his belt ... was able to watch Darryl Johnson play left tackle, which gave him a foundation for a work ethic ... has tremendous upside as he makes the transition to Division I football ... has three years of eligibility at UNM and will compete for a starting role in 2014 ... has quick feet and moves well at the tackle position ... working on adding some weight to his frame ... both Memphis and Louisiana-Lafayette had been recruiting him out of New Mexico Military Institute.

2013: Redshirted.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: A backup to start the season but became New Mexico Military Institute's starting left tackle after the 2012 season opener and remained there for the rest of the season...helped the Broncos average 36.9 points and 386.8 yards per game. NMMI finished with a 6-5 record in '12.

HIGH SCHOOL: A member of the Class 3A first-team All-State and first-team All-County as an offensive guard at Vanguard High School in Ocala, Fla...a member of the Orlando Sentinel's Top 100 high school recruits in 2011 and made Tom Lemming's Top 25 High School Guards and Centers in '11 as well.
