Albuquerque, N.M. --- Season tickets for Lobo men’s basketball go on sale Tuesday, October 1 at 8:30 a.m., at the Lobo Ticket Office in The Pit.  The Lobos have won back-to-back Mountain West regular season and tournament championships and 57 games in the last two years.

This year the Lobos have a 17-game home schedule as the team returns four starters from last year.  Manning the sidelines is Craig “Noodles” Neal in his frist season as the head coach after spending the past six as Associate Head Coach. The home schedule features plenty of great non-conference action, including NCAA Tournament teams Cincinnati and New Mexico State, as Big South champion Charleston Southern. Home games within the Mountain West included four NCAA Tournament teams in UNLV, San Diego State, Boise State and Colorado State.

The team has been picking up plenty of national accolades, including a top 25 ranking from Lindy’s Preview Magazine.  Lindy’s also lists three players, Cameron Bairstow (No. 6 PF), Kendall Williams (No. 3 PG) and Alex Kirk (No. 2 C) as the top six returning players nationally at their respective positions.  This year will see every Lobo game available on regional or national television, further cementing Lobo basketball in the national landscape.

The Lobos will open the season with exhibition games on Nov. 2 and Nov. 6 before the season and the Neal era officially tip-off at 8 p.m. on Nov. 9 against Alabama A&M.  The Lobos will play six non-conference and nine conference home games this season as the Mountain West has expanded to 11 teams.

Season ticket packages for the 17-game home slate begin at just $285 for adults and $161 for youth. Tickets can be purchased at the Lobo Ticket Office at The Pit, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.golobos.com or www.unmtickets.com, or by calling the Lobo Ticket Office at 505-925-LOBO.

NOTES: The Lobos will entertain the fans on October 18 as the Lobo Howl will take place at The Pit with ESPNU in the house to broadcast the evening. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. at The Pit, with the men's team hitting the court around 8 p.m.
