ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Beyond Sports Network has named the University of New Mexico football team's offensive line as its Football Bowl Subdivision National Offensive Line of the Week.
The Lobos unit led the offense to 451 rushing yards during UNM's 45-37 win over Air Force on Friday night. Running back Kasey Carrier had 179 rushing yards, quarterback Cole Gautsche had 140 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns and running back Jhurell Pressley had a career-high 87 rushing yards and two TDs on just four carries.
Pressley had a career-long 61-yard TD run in the third quarter.
The line finished with 49 knockdown blocks. Junior right guard Jamal Price led the way with 20 knockdown blocks, a 100 percent assignment grade and a season-high 89 percent overall grade -- the best of any Lobos lineman this season.
UNM currently is ranked No. 2 in the nation in rushing with an average of 328.9 yards per game.
