Saturday Ticket Update
Saturday's match-up with San Jose State is practically sold out as of Thursday afternoon. According to the UNM ticket office, just 21 lower bowl seats remain for the contest, which tips off at 6:07 p.m.
With the game on ROOT Sports, there will be a live video stream for those outside the ROOT footprint at www.themw.com/#!/watch-live. ROOT Sports is available on DISH 414, Direct 683 and Comcast 261. Tim Neverett will handle the play-by-play and Joe Cravens will handle analysis.
Fifteen lucky fans have been selected to enjoy Saturday's game from a different perch, as UNM's Athletic Suite has been turned into the Social Media #LOBOSUITE for the game. These 15 fans will be visiting and getting a behind the scenes tour of Lobo basketball, meet with the TV crew, and tweet during the game, with four joining the post game press conference. To follow along, search the hashtag #LOBOSUITE before, during and after the game.
If You Go To The Women's Game at San Jose State...
...Don't go to San Jose State, because you won't get to see a game. The women's team was planning on not getting to practice at the SJSU Events Center on Friday night because of the Winter White Tour featuring Steve Aoki (a touring band of DJs). However, the Events Center is booked for The Fresh Beat Band, which is a children's television show on Nick Jr. (You can see exactly what they are here performing one of their more popular songs "Just Like a Rock Star")
Instead the Lobos will play San Jose State at De Anza Community College, which is located approximately 20 minutes west of SJSU in the town of Cupertino.
Lobos vs. Wyoming on ESPNU
Remember that the men's team will take on Wyoming at 9:05 p.m. on ESPNU next Wednesday night. ESPNU chose the Lobo game over UNLV at Colorado State. Tickets are still available for that game, and they can be purchased by contacting the Lobo Ticket Office or your local Albertson's, or log in at www.unmtickets.com.
