ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico track and field team’s single outdoor home meet, the Don Kirby Tailwind Open, has been rescheduled to Friday, May 2.
The meet, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 3, will still take place at the Great Friends of University of New Mexico Track & Field Stadium and will see the Lobos at home for the only time outdoors.
The meet information packet can accessed by clicking this link, and is included in the Related Links box to the right.
UNM, the host of five indoor home meets and the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, has held just one home outdoor meet each of the last five years. In 2009, the Lobos hosted both the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational in April and the Don Kirby in May.
The Lobos will take on a three meets in California this weekend as they travel to the Mt. SAC Relays, the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invitational.
