ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Mountain West announced Thursday that three University of New Mexico Saturday football games will be broadcast nationally, bringing the total number of national broadcasts for the Lobos in 2014 to five games.

The Lobos’ Sept. 6 home game against defending Pac-12 Southern Division champion Arizona State will appear on CBS Sports Network at 5 p.m.

UNM and Arizona State have not played since both were members of the Western Athletic Conference in 1977. The Sun Devils defeated the Lobos 45-24 at University Stadium.

The Lobos’ Nov. 8 home game against Boise State also has a 5 p.m. start time and will be televised on CBSSN. The last time the two teams clashed on Branch Field at University Stadium, UNM nearly erased all of a 25-0 halftime deficit but couldn’t convert a game-winning drive in the final minute as the nationally ranked Broncos escaped with a 32-29 victory.

UNM will travel to Logan, Utah on Nov. 15 to face defending Mountain West Mountain Division champion Utah State, with the game appearing on one of the ESPN family of networks at a time still to be determined.

Earlier this month, Lobos home games against Fresno State and San Diego State were moved to Friday to accommodate the ESPN family networks.

The Lobos will face the Mountain West champion Bulldogs at Branch Field on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m., on either ESPN or ESPN2. The UNM-San Diego State game at Branch Field on Oct. 10 will be at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
