ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The No. 22/23 University of New Mexcio women's basketball team will play one of their final two home games Wednesday night, when they play host to the Air Force Falcons. UNM is 18-7 on the season and 8-4 in the conference, while the AFA is 12-12 overall and 3-10 in the MWC. The Lobos also have a 33 game home conference winning streak that will be on the line against the Falcons. Tip-off from The Pit Wednesday night is set for 7:05 p.m.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the No. 22/23 Lobos of the University of New Mexico as they play host to the Falcons of the Air Force Academy in a MWC game.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: UNM is 18-4 on the season and 8-4 in conference with wins over Oral Roberts in the first round of the preseason WNIT, Cal in the second round, at No. 12 Texas, Marist, Oklahoma State, No. 10 Minnesota, Louisiana Monroe, North Dakota State, home and away against New Mexico State, No. 22 Utah, home and away against Colorado State, Wyoming, at Air Force, San Diego State, UNLV and TCU, with losses to Oklahoma twice, at No. 12 Arizona State, at TCU, at BYU, at Utah and at Wyoming. New Mexico is led in scoring by sophomore Dionne Marsh at 16.0 ppg. Senior Abbie Letz leads the team in rebounding at 7.4 rpg., while junior Katie Montgomery leads UNM in assists at 3.6 apg.

SCOUTING THE FALCONS: Air Force is currently 12-12 overall and 3-10 in the MWC. The Falcons have wins over Northern Colorado, at Utah Valley State, Weber State, Bucknell, at Utah State, at Montana State, Colorado-Colorado Springs, Army, Western State, San Diego State home and away and at Colorado State, with losses to Stephen F. Austin, Denver, BYU home and away, Wyoming home and away, TCU home and away, Utah home and away, New Mexico and UNLV. Leading Air Force in scoring and rebounding is Alecia Steele at 10.2 ppg. and 6.3 rpg., while Andrea Taylor leads them in assists at 3.1 apg.
