Volleyball Draws Second-seeded and 10th-ranked Colorado State in First Round of Mountain West Tournament

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The New Mexico volleyball team will receive the No. 7 seed in the Mountain West Volleyball Tournament and will play second-seeded and 10th-ranked Colorado State in the first round Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. The Mountain West Volleyball Tournament runs Nov. 18-20 in Fort Collins, Colo. All of the tournament's matches will be televised on College Sports TV (CSTV) and live stats will be available at www.CSURams.com. CSTV is on channel 274 on Comcast Cable in the Albuquerque metro area.

The Lobos (9-16, 3-11 MWC) swept San Diego State for the first time in school history Sunday afternoon in the last match of the regular season. The Rams (22-3, 13-1 MWC) swept Utah Saturday night in their last match to claim a share of the MWC title. The Rams swept the Lobos twice this season in their previous meetings.

In the rest of the bracket, No. 1 Utah matches up against No. 8 Air Force at 11 a.m. No. 4 UNLV and No. 5 Wyoming will tangle at 1:30 p.m., and No. 3 BYU will meet No. 6 San Diego State at 4 p.m.
