ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico will end the regular season on Saturday afternoon as the play host to the MWC regular season champion BYU Cougars. Satuday's game will also be the final game for seniors Jana Francis, Abbie Letz and Judy Vogt as they finish their careers at UNM. These three seniors will be honored following the game. Tip-off for Saturday is set for 2:06 p.m. and will be televised locally on UPN50.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the No. 19/21 Lobos of the University of New Mexico as they play host to the No. 16/18 Cougars of BYU in their final MWC and regular season game. Seniors Abbie Letz, Jana Francis and Judy Vogt will play their final game in The Pit today.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: UNM is 20-8 on the season and 10-5 in conference with wins over Oral Roberts in the first round of the preseason WNIT, Cal in the second round, at No. 12 Texas, Marist, Oklahoma State, No. 10 Minnesota, Louisiana Monroe, North Dakota State, No. 22 Utah, Wyoming, UNLV, TCU and home and away against New Mexico State, Colorado State, Air Force and San Diego State, with losses to Oklahoma twice, at No. 12 Arizona State, at TCU, at BYU, at Utah, at Wyoming and at UNLV. New Mexico is led in scoring by sophomore Dionne Marsh at 15.4 ppg. Senior Abbie Letz leads the team in rebounding at 7.6 rpg., while junior Katie Montgomery leads UNM in assists at 3.5 apg.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS: BYU is the 2005-06 MWC regular season champions with a record of 23-3 overall and 13-2 in the MWC. The Cougars have wins at Cal State Northridge, at UCLA, Santa Barbara, at Stony Brook, at Seton Hall, at UC Riverside, Northern Arizona, Utah Valley State, at Weber State, Portland at Utah, New Mexico, at Wyoming and home and away against Air Force, San Diego State, TCU, UNLV and Colorado State, with losses to North Carolina State, Utah and Wyoming. Leading BYU in scoring and rebounding is Ambrosia Anderson at 18.9 ppg. and 7.6 rpg., while Melinda Johnsen leads them in assists at 3.7 apg.

THE COACHES: UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan who in his 11th season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 237-102 at UNM. BYU is under the direction of Jeff Judkins who is in his fifth season at BYU. Judkins is 100-49 at the helm of the Cougars.
