Last Dual Match for New Mexico:

The Lobos washed away the Islanders 7-0 at the Linda Estes Tennis Complex. The dual match started in favor of UNM as the Lobos won all three doubles matches. Phil Anderson and Jadon Phillips defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Tave/Westmoreland 8-6. Their teammates Ben Dunbar and Conor Berg defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Pavlov/Robinson, only giving up two games in the process, finishing the match 8-2. Carl Ho and James Hignett were the first to finish, defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Maingot/Jordao with a score of 8-1.

The Lobos certainly sent a message, as the Lobos paved their way into victory winning all six of their singles matches while at the same time not losing a set.

The ITA Indoor Playoffs:

Sixty men’s teams will be competing across the country for the right to qualify at the ITA National Indoor Championships which will be hosted in February by the University of Virginia. The Lobos will be facing off against the University of Florida in the first round of the tournament, while the University of Miami will be playing against Wake Forest University.
