BOISE, Id.--- The University of New Mexico men's tennis team traveled to Boise, Id. Saturday to take on the no. 59 Broncos. Boise State picked up an early advantage against the Lobos, taking the doubles point and then sweeping three singles matches in a row.

New Mexico's Ben Dunbar was the first to secure a win for his team. Bronco Filipp Pogostkin came from behind in to win the second set 7-5 after Dunbar took the first set 7-6. Dunbar was able to overpower his opponent in the final set 10-7.

In the last match of the day, Jadon Phillips was faced against no. 89 Damian Hume. Phillips pulled ahead after the first set winning 7-5, but was barely edged out in a tie breaker by Boise State in the second set 6-7 (6-8). Phillips claimed the match in the final set, beating Hume 10-5.

Next up, the Lobos will host Nebraska at the Linda Estes Tennis Complex. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m. MT.
