WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The fifth-ranked New Mexico women's golf team maintained its lead after two rounds of the Landfall Collegiate Tradition Saturday afternoon (Nov. 1). The Lobos (291-304-595) lead Tulane by one stroke (300-296-596).

Junior Kailin Downs (Bend, Ore.) is tied for second with a 69-75-144 and is three strokes behind Arkansas' Amanda McCurdy. Sophomore Christine Fernandez (Henderson, Nev.) is tied for 12th with a 73-77-150 (+6) while freshman Ashley Rollins (Austin, Texas) is tied for 14th (74-77-151).

Junior Shannon Johnson (Sioux Falls, S.D.) is eight-over at 75-77-152 to stand in a tie for 19th place and senior Katrina Leckovic (Burnaby, British Columbia) is tied for 25th with a 78-75-153.

The final round of the Landfall Tradition is set for tomorrow (Sunday, Nov. 2).
