Lobo Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

The University of New Mexico women's soccer team earned its fourth straight National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award. The NSCAA award is given to teams who have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0. The Lobo women's soccer team posted a 3.43 for the 2009-10 academic year.

UNM is one of six Mountain West Conference member institutions to be honored for their academic success during the 2010 season and boasted the highest g.p.a. of the league.

Earlier this season Kelli Cornell and Jael Fanning were named 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District Women's Soccer District 6 first-team selections.
