ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's basketball team will conclude their exhibition schedule on Saturday, against the NWBL Houston Flight. The Lobos are 1-0 in the exhibition season, while the Flight are 1-2. UNM won their only outing 67-56 over the West Coast All-Stars and the Flight are coming off their only win an 83-75 victory over UNLV. Tip-off Saturday is set for 7 PM.
TONIGHT'S GAME Tonight's game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico against the NWBL Houston Flight in an exhibition game. This is the second exhibition game for UNM this season and the fourth game for the Houston Flight
SCOUTING THE LOBOS UNM won their first exhibition over the West coast All-Stars 67-56. The Lobos are led in scoring in the exhibition season by junior guard Mandi Moore at 19 points per game (ppg). Right behind Moore is freshman Fatima Maddox at 12 ppg and senior Melissa Forest and Katie Montgomery at nine ppg. UNM is shooting 34 percent from the field and 30 percent behind the arc.
SCOUTING THE HOUSTON FLIGHT The Houston Flight team is made up of former college basketball players that play in the National Women's Basketball League. Houston Flight is 1-2 in the exhibition season with a win over UNLV (83-75) and losses to University of Cal-Santa Barbara (96-39) and the University of Nevada (84-47).
