Honolulu, Hawaii - The No. 4 University of New Mexico men's golf team continues to lead the John Burns Intercollegiate after two rounds of play. The Lobos shot a 13-under par 275 in the second round to move to 27-under par on the par-72, 6,916 Leilhua Golf Course. UNM has a four stroke lead over Arizona entering the final round.
Individually for the Lobos junior Spencer Levin continues to lead at 12-under par. Levin followed his first round 65 with a 5-under 67 and is tied with Will Dotson of SMU and Ryan Moore of UNLV at the top.
The other Lobo individuals continued to play well as sophomore Charlie Beljan is 8-under par (70-66) tied for seventh, junior Jay Choi is 4-under par (71-69) tied for 18th, senior Miguel Griego is 3-under par (68-73) tied for 25th and junior Mark Anderson is 1-over par (72-73) tied for 38th. Senior Madalitso Muthiya is even par (73-71) playing as an individual.
The John Burns Intercollegiate concludes tomorrow with the final 18-holes of play.
