HOME OPENER: The New Mexico women's swimming and diving teama will host its first meet of the season Thursday, at 6 p.m. BYU, Northern Arizona and San Diego State will compete against the Lobos before the quartet welcome New Mexico State for the Lobo Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The meet will consist of 13 events including the 200-yard medley and free relays, 1- and 3-meter board and 200-yard strokes.
LOBO INVITATIONAL: New Mexico gears up for its annual Lobo Invitational Nov. 5-6. Participating in the two-day event will be New Mexico State, Northern Arizona and Mountain West Conference rivals BYU and San Diego State.
Friday's portion of the competition will start at 4 p.m. The events for that session will be the 200-yard freestyle relay, 500-yard free, 200-yard individual medley, 50-free, 400-medley relay and 3-meter diving, respectively.
The second session will start Saturday morning at 9 a.m. The meet will kick off with the 200-yard medley relay followed by the 400-yard IM, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard free, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke, 800-yard free relay, 1,650-yard free and 1-meter diving.
The final session of the meet will start Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. The fastest heat of the 1,650-yard free will be the first event followed by the 200-yard back, 100-yard free, 200-yard breast, 200-yard fly and 400-yard free relay.
