New Mexico head coach Mike Locksley
"Obviously, we are disappointed with today's outcome. As a head coach I'm disappointed for the fourteen seniors that have endured a tough two years."
"We didn't play well today, we didn't execute on offense, defense, and special plays and that all starts with me as a head coach. As with the end of any year, there will be evaluations of every part of this program. There will be some tough decisions to be made, but I'm willing to make those decisions as a head coach."
"Those decisions will be the ones to move the program forward, whether they have to do with coaches or personnel, I will do whatever it take to get this program back on track. Again it all starts with me, I've never once ducked the responsibility that comes with being a head coach, and I don't plan on starting now."
"We will make some tough decisions, but they will be to move the program forward. I think that we have helped ourselves some with recruiting that will help develop our program, and I'm looking forward to the 2011 season."
New Mexico Players
Pete Gardner - How were your opportunities in the second half? "We got out there and started hitting them in the mouth. We hit the quarterback (Andy Dalton) and we rattled them a little bit. The defense got some turnovers and made some opportunities for the offense and kept building momentum."
Stump Godfrey - How do you think the team did against TCU?
"We did great. We kept fighting. We gave ourselves a chance to stay in the game. We have a far way to go. Our team is doing a great job."
