Millican, Beljan, Choi, Levin and Reynolds Earn Regional Honors

NORMAN, OKLA. - The PING All-Region Teams, Eaton Golf Pride Regional Coaches of the Year and the All-Freshman Team have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). New Mexico head coach Glen Millican was named the Eaton Golf Pride Southwest Regional Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. Millican with the award is now eligible with the nine other Regional Coaches of the Year for the Dave Williams Eaton Golf Pride National Coach of the Year award.

Junior Jay Reynolds, sophomores Jay Choi and Spencer Levin and freshman Charlie Beljan were all named to the 15-player PING All-Southwest Region team. The award is the first time for all four golfers. Reynolds, Choi, Levin and Beljan along with the other 131 All-Region selections are eligible for PING All-America honors.

The University of New Mexico men's golf team will be in action on Tuesday, June 1, at the NCAA Championships in Hot Springs, Va.
