The University of New Mexico women's golf team finished in 12th place at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. The tournament was held at the Sahalee Country Club outside Seattle. Results are available at www.golfstat.com

UNM shot a team total of 326 in the final round to finish at 967. Stanford won the tournament with a score of 905. The Cardinal's Mari Chun took medalist honors with a 2-over 218.

A pair of seniors led the Lobos. Morgan Grantham had a 54-hole total of 238 (78-77-83), tying for 33rd place. Mikaela Backstedt finished at 240 (81-78-81).

Freshman Rebecca Hellbom had UNM's low round on the final day at 8-over 80. She ended at 242 (80-82-80). Fellow freshman Sarah Salvo shot 82 in the final round. Junior Britney Choy finished at 258 (88-85-85).

The Lobos return to the course Oct. 17-19 for the Stanford Intercollegiate.
