ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--- The University of New Mexico men's tennis team made another jump in rankings today, pulling into the no. 40 spot. The Lobos just returned home from the HEB Tournament of Champions in Corpus Christi, Texas., where they faced Purdue, Middle Tennessee State, and no. 47 DePaul.

The continual jump in rankings is just one of many feats the Lobos have conquered this year. Head Coach Alan Dils also saw his 200th win as head coach against the University of Texas - San Antonio.

The Lobos successes so far this season come as no surprise and will help keep their confidence up as they begin to face tougher and tougher opponents, such as Texas Tech. The Red Raiders will travel to the Linda Estes Tennis Complex Friday to face New Mexico. The match will begin with doubles at 1 p.m.
