Women's Soccer Picks Up NSCAA Academic Team Award

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's soccer team was awarded the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award as announced by the association. The award is given to teams who achieved a cumulative grade point average above 3.0. The Lobos posted a team GPA of 3.35 for the 2007-08 academic year.

Women's Soccer posted its highest semester GPA in the Spring of 2008 with a 3.47. Over 13 Lobos earned over a 3.4 GPA for the 2007-08 academic year and over 24 athletes earned over a 3.0 GPA for the 2007-08 academic year.
