New Mexico Head Coach Don Flanagan

(On the difference between the halves) There was no panic in there, what we talked about was that we played good defense, we just didn't play good offense. When you hold them to 21 points in the first half you're doing pretty well. They weren't shooting a high percentage, they hadn't had any success at the three. They had some success with the wrap around screen that they run and we practiced that throughout the week. It's difficult to defend so we had a little bit of problem with that because the screener becomes the shooter. We wanted to take away that drive, continue to pursue them and not give them 3-point shots. Then all of a sudden we started getting hot and hitting our shot. Second half for a period of time was pretty good defense. Sometimes they didn't even get a shot, sometimes they got one and we had an essay rebound.

Wyoming Head Coach Joe Legerski

Well I came into this game saying New Mexico was a very good team. They showed that, they stepped up and played really well. I wish we were able to compete a little better on in the glass, but once again I have to give all the credit to New Mexico with how well they played in the second half. They really just took the game over.
