Albuquerque, N.M. – Lobo basketball fans wanting single-game tickets can purchase them Saturday morning without ever leaving their house. Single-game tickets for all 18 men’s home games and all 17 women’s home games will be available online at www.unmtickets.com starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 22. For those fans that wish to purchase on-line, an added bonus is the print at home option for tickets, a great feature for all Lobo fans.

Single-game tickets will also go on sale on Monday, October 24 in person at the Lobo Ticket Office at The Pit, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased through the phone center (M-F, 10-4, 925-5858) and at all Albertson stores in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho/Santa Fe area. Fans coming directly to The Pit do have an added incentive in that they can check out the Lobo Den Store, Powered by Your UNM Bookstores! The Lobo Den Store space is chock full of Lobo gear, Nike gear, replica jerseys, team apparel, fans items, and souvenirs, all available to make the Lobo basketball experience an unforgettable one. The Lobo Den Store is open from noon to 5 p.m. during the week.

With the Lobos selling nearly 11,000 season tickets for men’s basketball, and nearly 5,600 women’s season tickets, fans will want to pick up seats early to make sure they don’t shut out of some great home games such as Nov. 16 against Rio Grande Rival New Mexico State, Dec. 3 against Steve Alford’s former school Missouri State, or Feb. 18 against conference rival UNLV, which will be shown nationally on CBS.

New Mexico opens the exhibition season with games on Tuesday, Nov. 1 against Davenport at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 5 against Western New Mexico at 7 p.m. The women’s team will take the court for their first and only exhibition game for new head coach Yvonne Sanchez on Saturday, Nov. 5 as the Lobos host New Mexico Highlands at 2 p.m.

The first regular season home game for men’s basketball is Saturday, Nov. 11 as the men host New Orleans at 7 p.m. Lobo women’s basketball officially opens the season vs. Big 12 power Oklahoma on Saturday, November 19th at 2p.m.

NOTE: Six men’s home games were picked up by My50-TV for broadcast, as well as the women’s exhibition game against New Mexico Highlands. The men’s games picked up were both exhibition games, the opener against New Orleans, the December 20 game with Montana State, the January 3 game with Houston Baptist, and the January 7 game with North Dakota. In addition, the game at New Mexico State on December 28 will be on AggieVision, and the game on Dec. 10 at USC will be on Fox Sports West. UNM officials are awaiting word on potential broadcast channels for Arizona State, meaning that 30 of the Lobos’ 32 games will be broadcast this season.
