ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-- Keisha Hampton scored 16 points to lead the DePaul Blue Demons over the Alcorn State Lady Braves, 90-42 this afternoon in the neutral game of the Basketball Travelers Tip-Off Tournament. DePaul improves to 2-0 on the season while Alcorn State falls to 0-2 on the season.

The size of the Blue Demons was too much for the Lady Braves to handle as DePaul picked up 13 blocks on the day. The Blue Demons also made the most of the opportunities provided by the Lady Braves by turning 15 turnovers into 16 points. Four DePaul players scored at least 10 points in the victory while the team shot 50 percent from the field. DePaul will take on the New Mexico Lobos Monday night at 7 p.m. in the final game of the tournament, which will be televised by the Mountain Sports Network.

Leading the way for Alcorn State was Kiara Ruffin who scored 13 points. The Lady Braves will take on the Idaho State Bengals in Monday's neutral game at 4 p.m. (MST).
