The University of New Mexico men's golf team travels to San Diego, Calif., for the Barona Cup. The Barona Cup will be played on Mon-Tues., Oct. 20-21. The Lobos head to San Diego after a ninth place finish at the Club Clove Intercollegiate. Teams joining the Lobos at the Baron Cup will be San Diego State, Nevada, UNC Greensboro, Hawai'i, Denver, Ohio State, Texas A&M, UTEP, Washington State, BYU, Louisville, Fresno State, Wichita State, Alabama-Birmingham and San Diego.

The Barona Cup will be played at the 7,088 yard, par-72 Barona Creek Golf Club in Lakeside, Calif. The Southern California championship course was designed by Gary Roger Baird and Todd Eckenrode.
