• New Mexico wins its 13th straight game with an 83-81 victory at BYU...the Lobos, who started 0-2 in the Mountain West Conference and were picked to finish 5th in the preseason poll, are 27-3 overall and 13-2 in the MWC

• The Lobos have clinched at least a share of their 2nd straight MWC regular-season championship...the last time New Mexico won back-to-back conference titles was 1944-45 when it was in the Border Conference...the Lobos' last outright league title was in 1994 in the Western Athletic Conference

• UNM closes the regular season Wednesday at home against TCU

• The Lobos will be the No. 1 seed in next month's MWC Tournament in Las Vegas

• New Mexico ends BYU's 21-game home court winning streak and wins at BYU for the first time since 2000, stopping a 9-game losing streak in Provo

• The Lobos are 6-0 against ranked teams in 2009-10

• New Mexico is tied with Utah State for the nation's 2nd-longest current winning streak at 13 games...Butler has won 18 in a row

• UNM sets MWC records with 13 straight conference wins and 7 conference road wins

• The 13-game winning streak is the 3rd longest in school history...UNM started the current season 12-0...the school record is 17 in a row in 1967-68 followed by 14 straight in 1977-78

• The 27 wins tie for the 2nd-most in school history...the school record is 28 set in 1995-96 (28-5)

• The Lobos extend school records with their: 7th straight conference road win, 10th road win of the season and 11th win away from Albuquerque (road and neutral sites) in 2009-10

• The Lobos are 24-15 on the road in 3 seasons under head coach Steve Alford, 16-8 in the MWC

• The Lobos are 7-0 in games decided by 3 points or less and 10-0 when the differential is 6 points or less

• New Mexico is 22-0 when leading at halftime this season...UNM led 43-35 at the break today

• UNM has won 31 straight games (22-0 this season) when scoring 70 or more points...the last loss was 81-76 last year at San Diego State
