With numerous Lobo teams getting ready to kick off their campaigns for the 2012-13 academic year, it’s time to make plans to ensure you don’t miss a moment of action from the great teams that represent the University of New Mexico.
The Lobo Pride Pass is the essential tool in any Lobo fan’s arsenal. This pass allows purchasers to attend all baseball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s cross country, swimming and diving, skiing, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field and volleyball preseason and regular season home games. This means nearly 100 events throughout the 2012-13 academic year for one special price.
The pass allows access to hundreds of hours of Lobo action through the many home games and matches offered by the various teams included. That’s entire days, even weeks, of entertainment for a price of just $50. Single game tickets to the same number of events cost hundreds of dollars.
“Our fan base has increased dramatically over the last few years. Being fourth in the country helps our team, and it certainly helps impress recruits. The Lobo Pride Pass is a difference maker for our attendance,’ noted Kit Vela Head Women’s Soccer Coach.
There are multiple conference and tournament championships won by these programs last year, which includes men’s soccer, women’s soccer and baseball who each took home both regular season and tournament conference championships. Furthermore, Lobo Pride Pass teams garnered nine conference player of the year and five coach of the year awards last year.
"We really appreciate the support and the help. This pass benefits all of our programs and gets a lot more people out to the games. We'd like all of you to be a part of that… This is a great deal and it benefits our student-athletes and our coaches. Get out there and buy a couple,” Head Volleyball Coach Jeff Nelson said.
Do you have some “Little Lobos” in your family? Then make sure you explore a very special youth opportunity through the Junior Lobo Kids Club. For those in the eighth grade or younger, the Junior Lobo Kids Club gets youngsters to the same games as the Lobo Pride Pass, but it also includes season-long admission to all home football and women’s basketball games for an even better price of $25! Kids Club membership also has additional perks including the Kid’s Summer Bash and Holiday Party, t-shirts and much more.
