Tournaments Lined Up For Next Two Weekends

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Lobos jump into spring play this Saturday, heading to Tucson, Ariz. for the University of Arizona Tournament. They face NCAA Tournament participants Arizona State and New Mexico State, Arizona, UTEP and UNLV.

"I am looking forward to getting out and competing in some matches," head coach Jeff Nelson said. "This tournament has a very strong field and is a great way for us to kick off spring competition."

All six teams will be in action at the same time on the floor of McKale Center, with the first matches starting at 9 a.m. The teams will rotate in an order yet to be determined for two more matches before a break from 12-1 p.m. Match play will start back up after the hour break and will conclude at approximately 4 p.m.

All six teams will play against each of the participating schools for a total of five matches on the day.

The Lobos return to host their own tournament on Saturday, March 31st in the Johnson Center.
