COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference announced that New Mexico's Becca Barras has been named MWC Women's Diver of the Week for the 12th time in her career. Barras has been nominated and received the award four times this year.

Barras, a native of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, remained undefeated in dual matches this season with her sweep vs. Utah last week. She notched a personal and MWC season-best 280.95 in the 1-meter board and scored 309.60 in the 3-meter. Barras also holds the top point total in the 3-meter board, scoring 484.15 at the Texas Invitational earlier this season.

Barras and the Lobos will return to the pool this weekend as they travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. for a 1 p.m. meet with Air Force. UNM returns home for its final match prior to the MWC Championships next Saturday, Jan. 29, for a battle with in-state rival New Mexico State at 1 p.m.
