Delich to Represent UNM at NCAA Leadership Conference

Jennifer Delich, senior captain of the 2004 NCAA Champion Lobo Ski Team, has been selected to represent the University of New Mexico at the 2004 NCAA Leadership Conference on May 30 - June 3 at the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex and Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Delich was one of 324 student athletes selected from a pool of 1,175 nominations from institutions at Division I, II, and III level. Delich currently serves as the vice-president of the UNM Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as well as the captain of the ski team. In March, Delich became the first Lobo woman to win the NCAA Giant Slalom individual title. She is a two-time All-American and a former Academic All-American for the Lobo Ski Team. The Ski Team's 2004 NCAA Championship was the first team championship for the Lobos in any sport.
