ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico softball announced its doubleheader at Texas Tech scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 has been postponed due to field conditions. Texas Tech has recently had renovations to the Rocky Johnson Field which was set to be completed in time for the doubleheader, but weather conditions have delayed its finish. The double header will be played later this season. The date will be posted shortly on Golobos.com.

The Lobos will resume play at home this weekend, as they take on Wright State and Georgetown, Friday and Saturday, in the UNM Spring Invitational. New Mexico is currently riding a 5 game winning streak pushing their record to 9-5, coming off a sweep of Okalahoma State last weekend. The Lobos will open up the tournament against Wright State Friday, March 7th, at 3:30 p.m. New Mexico will then take on Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. The Lobos repeat the process Saturday, instead taking on Georgetown at 3:30 p.m. and Wright State at 6:00 p.m.
