• New Mexico improves to 15-2 overall (2-0 MWC) with a 72-45 victory over Fresno State (6-9, 0-2 MW)

• The 27-point winning margin is UNM's largest of the season...the previous was 18 (76-58) vs. Mercer

• 45 points by Fresno State is a season low for a UNM opponent...previous was 52 by Valparaiso

• The Lobos are 2-0 in the Mountain West for only the second time in the 14-year existence of the league...the first time was 2001-02...UNM has never started 3-0 in the MW

• After shooting less than 40% in each of the past 4 games for the first time since 1999-2000, New Mexico shot 49.2% (29-59) from the floor today...it's UNM's 3rd-best shooting performance of the season, and best since 51.9% (28-54) vs. USC on Dec. 5

• Fresno State was allowing just 59.6 points coming into today's game, and only one opponent (UCLA - 91) had reached 70 points against them

• Today's rebound margin of +18 (43-25) is UNM's largest of the season...the 17 offensive rebounds are also a season high

• The Lobos set season highs with 42 points in The Paint (42-14 scoring advantage) and 23 second-chance points (23-5 advantage)

• The Lobos are 7-0 all-time against Fresno State in The Pit

• Under Steve Alford, UNM is 65-1 when allowing less than 60 points, the only loss 59-56 to Louisville in the 3rd round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament

• hit his first 6 shots of the game

Junior G Tony Snell

• 16 points and a career-high 3 blocks in a game-high 38 minutes

• his most points since the 3rd game of the season when he had a career-high 27 vs. George Mason

• also 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals

Senior G Jamal Fenton

• 9 points and a career-high 6 rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench

• also 3 assists and 2 steals

Sophomore G Hugh Greenwood
