ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico sophomore Kelsey Ansley has left the women's basketball team and will transfer at the end of the semester. Ansley, who competed in both exhibition games this year, leaves the program due to personal reasons.
"Kelsey has decided to go to a smaller school and we respect that decision," said UNM head coach Don Flanagan. "We appreciate the time that she was here and wish her the best in the future."
The Marble Falls, Texas native averaged 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per game as a freshman. Ansley appeared in 24 games last season.
