ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- Ticket sales are going well for the New Mexico - Nebraska women's basketball game held at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, N.M. The state-of-the-art facility is truly a multi-purpose arena equipped with two large video boards, ribbon boards and amazing amenities. The arena officially sits 6,449 for the basketball game Wednesday night and will be the first time UNM has played a game inside the Santa Ana Star Center.
The facility features 26 luxury suites, 500 club seats, VIP lounge, club lounge and 4 club suites. The Santa Ana Star Center is capable of hosting a variety of events ranging from trade shows, conventions, graduations, performing arts, concerts, sporting events, youth sports, thrill shows and family events.
Saturday the Lobos were honored at the first intermission of the final home game for the Scorpions of the Central Hockey League.
Over 1,000 tickets were sold after one day and nearly 2,000 by the end of the day Friday. Tickets remain on sale through the Santa Ana Star Center and a large crowd is expected Wednesday for this exciting event.
Rio Rancho is one of the fastest growing communities in New Mexico and will be hosting the Lobos for the first-time Wednesday.
