ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's basketball team will hit the road Tuesday night, as they travel to play the University of Arizona. The Lobos are 5-2 on the season and have won four straight, while the Wildcats are 5-3 this year. Tip-off from the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona, is scheduled for 7:00 PM and can be heard live on 610 AM The Sports Animal or on golobos.com.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico visiting the Wildcats of the University of Arizona in a non-conference road game.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: New Mexico is 5-2 this season with victories over Florida Atlantic (74-44), No. 25 Texas (63-60), Georgia Southern (64-43), Siena (78-39) and New Mexico State (81-47) and losses to No. 12/13 Arizona State (67-49) and Nebraska (66-59). UNM is led in scoring by senior Julie Briody at 16.3 ppg and rebounding by junior Dionne Marsh at 6.9 rpg. Leading the Lobos in assists is freshman Amy Beggin at 3.3 apg.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS: Arizona comes into tonight's game 5-3 with a wins over Nicholls State (83-41), TCU (59-56 OT), North Carolina State (68-66 OT), UTEP (72-68) and Louisiana Tech (74-59) and losses to George Washington (69-65), No. 1 Maryland (75-61) and No. 10 Texas A&M (64-44). The Wildcats are led in scoring by Joy Hollingsworth at 16.3 ppg and rebounding by Amina Njonkou at 6.5 rpg. The leading passer is Ashley Whisonant at 3.4 apg.

THE COACHES: UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan who enters his 12th season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 244-106 at UNM. The Wildcats are led by Joan Bonvicini who is in her 16th season at U of A and 28th overall. Bonvicini has a record of 271-185 at Arizona and 596-256 overall.
