* New Mexico improves to 7-2 with a 44-41 victory at Southern Cal...the Lobos have won 5 in a row

* UNM is 4-1 away from Albuquerque this season, 2-0 in true road games and 2-1 neutral

* The Lobos won their first game in 5 tries against USC in Los Angeles...they are now 1-4 at USC and the series is tied 5-5 overall
