ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico women's basketball travels to Fort Worth, Texas this weekend to take on TCU Sunday. The game is slated for a 1 p.m. tip and will be televised on the Mountain Network. Bill Doleman and Andrea Lloyd will call the action for TV with Joe Behrend providing radio on 610 AM The Sports Animal. This will be the second meeting between the two schools this season after the Horned Frogs won, 57-54, in Albuquerque on Jan. 15. The Lobos are 13-10 overall and 5-5 in the Mountain West Conference. TCU has an overall record of 15-9 and is 8-2 in league play.

LOBO WOMEN'S BASKETBALL QUICK HITS
No. 400 For Flanagan ... Don Flanagan will coach his 400th collegiate game on Sunday, Feb. 17, at TCU. Already the winningest basketball coach in New Mexico history, Don Flanagan earned his 275th collegiate win on Feb. 6 at Colorado State, 74-47.
Cherry Crush At The Pit ... Back by popular demand, Cherry Crush Night at The Pit will be Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. when the Lobos host Air Force. The UNM Bookstore will be selling Cherry Crush t-shirts for $7.95. Purchase of a Cherry Crush t-shirt include a free ticket to the men's game vs. TCU on Feb. 16 and a free ticket to the women's game vs. Air Force on Feb. 20.
2008, 2009, and 2010 ... The NCAA announced earlier this week that Albuquerque and UNM have picked up a third consecutive year of hosting the NCAA Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds in 2010.
Last Time Out - vs. San Diego State - W, 63-54 ... Senior Dionne Marsh recorded a team-high 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Lobos to a 63-54 victory over San Diego State Wednesday evening inside The Pit. The double-double was Marsh's second of the season as the Lobos improve to 13-10 overall and 5-5 in the Mountain West Conference. Along with Marsh's 15 points, senior Brandi Kimble added 11, and freshman forward Jessica Kielpinski chipped in nine. Kielpinski also tied a career-high with seven rebounds. The Aztecs jumped out to a quick 8-1 lead over the first four minutes with five fast points from senior Shanna Davis. The seven-point lead was San Diego State's largest of the game. San Diego State lost their lead when Georonika Jackson hit an open three near the baseline that tied the game at 8-8 at the 14:04 mark. New Mexico countered with a 13-2 run to pull to a 13-10 lead with 11:48 remaining in the first half. The Aztecs finished the half outscoring the Lobos 15-12 as they took a mere 26-25 lead into the half. New Mexico scored seven straight points to start the second half, holding the Aztecs scoreless until 16:04 left in the game and building a 32-26 lead. New Mexico managed a 37-34 lead at the 12:37 mark in the second half before rattling off a 24-4 run to open up their biggest lead 59-42 with 2:09 remaining.
Crowd Factor ... Lobo women's basketball crowds at The Pit have ranked in the NCAA Top Five in average attendance for the past seven years. The Lobos cracked the 8,000 average mark for the first time this season following the Dec. 18 crowd of 8,711 against Stanford. UNM is averaging 8,420 fans in 15 home games of the season and had three consecutive games of 8,700+ in attendance from Dec. 15-21. The largest crowd at The Pit this season was 11,942 against UNLV on Feb. 2 for Pack The Pit.
About TCU (15-9, 8-2) ... The Lady Frogs are one of the hottest teams in the Mountain West Conference as the second half of league play rolls along. TCU has won five games in a row, including Wednesday night's 73-59 win over nationally-ranked Wyoming in Fort Worth. Senior Adrianne Ross leads the team with 13.9 points per game, 77 assists, and 56 steals. Lorie Butler-Rayford leads the team in rebounding with 7.0 boards per game.
Marsh's Mark ... Dionne Marsh recorded the 12th double-double of her career on Feb. 13 against San Diego State with 15 points and 11 rebounds, her second double-double of the season.
Marsh is one of 12 Lobos who is a member of the 1,000-point/500-rebound club. Marsh has the opportunity to become the Lobos' all-time leading scorer and one of the top rebounders in program history.
On the scoring side of the box, Marsh needs 68 points to move into second past Jordan Adams (1999-2003) and 106 to take the lead from Abby Garchek (1993-97) on the Lobo all-time career scoring list.
The senior from Flower Mound, Texas, moved into eighth place on the UNM all-time rebound list with 11 on Feb. 13 against SDSU. Marsh needs 8 rebounds to move into seventh place.

Kielpinski Making Impact ... Freshman Jessica Kielpinski scored a career-high 13 points at Wyoming on Feb. 10, coming off the bench for the second game in a row. On Jan. 19 at Air Force, she earned her first collegiate start. She made the most of the opportunity by scoring nine points and grabbing six rebounds. Kielpinski is typically one of the first players off the bench for Don Flanagan. Kielpinski is averaging 17.7 minutes, 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds so far this season. In the Comcast Lobo Shootout, the Mandan, N.D., native combined for 18 points and nine rebounds, while shooting 50.0 percent from the field.
Jackson Has Career Days ... For the second time in three games, sophomore Georonika Jackson recorded a career high in points. On Feb. 10, Jackson scored nine points in 10 minutes of action at Wyoming. Two games before against UNLV, Jackson had eight points. Against San Diego State on Feb. 13, the Sugar Land, Texas, native was productive in a career-high 23 minutes for the Lobos.
