2007-08 Towson Women's Basketball Post-Game Notes The Tigers and the Jaguars are meeting for the first time ever in women's basketball. This is also the Tigers' first-ever trip to the state of New Mexico in their women's basketball history.

For the first time this season, the Tigers won the opening tip.
With the win over the Jaguars, the Tigers extended their win streak for games played in December to eight straight games.
For the second consecutive game, the Tigers rallied from a half-time deficit to win. Against Rider on Sunday, Towson trailed by 35-32 at the intermission.
The Tigers' 30-24 deficit at half-time was their largest of the season. Previously, it was a 5-point deficit against Duquesne on November 25. The Dukes led by 43-38 in that game and won, 80-76.
The 24 points scored by the Tigers in the first half are the fewest so far this season. The previous mark for fewest points in the opening 20 minutes was 27 against Georgetown on November 29. It was also the fewest points allowed by Southern in any half this year.
With 11 points in the first half, senior guard Holly Mahan (Francis Lewis H.S./Queens, N.Y.) recorded her fifth double-digit scoring effort of the season. It is the fourth straight game in which she has scored in double figures. Mahan finished the game with a season-high 17 points.
Sophomore forward Kandace Davis (Laurel H.S./Hyattsville, Md.) recorded her third double-digit scoring game of the season and the fifth of her career. Davis finished the game with 15 points.
Sophomore forward Kandace Davis (Laurel H.S./Hyattsville, Md.) recorded her second "double double" of the season and the third of her career. She tied a career high with 12 rebounds against the Jaguars.
The Tigers set a season high with 25 steals. The previous high was 12 at Duquesne on November 25. It is the highest single-game total since the Tigers had 22 steals against Rider on December 22 of last season.
Senior guard Holly Mahan (Francis Lewis H.S./Queens, N.Y.) had a season-high six steals.
Sophomore guard Shanae Baker-Brice (Theodore Roosevelt H.S./Washington, D.C.) scored 11 points, marking her fourth straight double-digit scoring effort. She scored nine of her 11 points in the second half.
The Tigers had a season-high 28 turnovers against Southern. The previous high was 22 against Georgetown on November 29.
The Jaguars recorded 31 turnovers against the Tigers, marking the most by a Towson opponent this season. It is the highest total by a Towson opponent since the Tigers forced Rider to commit 35 turnovers last year.
