LAS VEGAS, NEV. - Lobo senior Graeme Kassautzki used two wins to advance to the semifinals at the UNLV Fall Invite today in Las Vegas, Nev. Kassautzki notched a victory in round one of singles action, defeating Fresno Pacific's Fabio Silva, 6-1, 6-4. In the quarterfinals, Kassautzki won decisively, 6-1, 6-1, over Fresno State's Rikus Villiers.
Kassautzki is one of four Lobos competing in the final event of the fall. Sophomore Joe Wood and newcomers Carl Ho and Phil Anderson fell in the opening rounds. Ho notched a 6-7, 6-4, 6-1 win over Siddarth Alapati from Fresno State in singles consolation.
Action continues Saturday, Nov. 1. The UNM men's tennis team opens its spring season on January 23, hosting Indiana.
