• Trailing 29-19 in the first half, the Lobos got their only lead of the game at the 5:20 mark when sophomore Dionne Marsh scored to give UNM a 52-50 edge...however, BYU went on a 10-1 run down the stretch for a decisive 60-53 advantage...Marsh finally got a FG with 3.4 seconds left, meaning the Lobos went more than five minutes without a basket...in between, UNM missed 7 shots and turned the ball over 3 times

• Marsh finished with 25 points, one shy of her season high, and 10 rebounds, for her 2nd straight double-double, 3rd of the season and 6th of her career...she also made the 4th 3-pointer of her career...during one stretch in the first half, Marsh scored 14 of UNM's 16 points
