The Lobos (13-4, 3-1 Mountain West) led 23-21 at halftime, and Letz scored eight points during a 14-0 run to start the second half.
Wyoming (12-3, 2-2) went the final 3:18 of the first half without a field goal. The scoring drought continued for 8:29 of the second half until Megan McGuffey made a baseline jumper. The Cowgirls missed seven field-goal attempts and had three turnovers on their first 10 possessions of the second half.
McGuffey led Wyoming with 15 points and Michelle Taylor added 10.
The Lobos improved to 29-0 at home against conference opponents in beating Wyoming for the seventh straight time.
