ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico will conclude their fall season this weekend at the Carpet Capital Collegiate hosted by Georgia Tech. The Lobos enter the three-day tournament as the No. 4 team in the Golfweek/Sagarin Index. The Carpet Capital Collegiate features 11 teams in the top-25 of the Golfweek Sagarin Index and 22 of the top-50 players. Tee times on Friday and Saturday begin at 6:30 a.m. (MDT) and at 6:00 a.m. (MDT) on Sunday. Live stats will be available on Saturday and Sunday at www.golfstat.com.

OPENING DRIVE: The University of New Mexico men's golf team will travel to the Carpet Capital Collegiate this weekend in Rocky Face, Ga. The three day tournament will take place on Nov. 5-7, with 18-holes played each day. Tee times on Friday and Saturday begin at 6:30 a.m. (MDT) and Sunday at 6:00 a.m.

THE COURSE: The Carpet Capital Collegiate will be played at the 6,906 yard, par-72 Farm Golf Club.

THE FIELD: The field for the Carpet Capital Collegiate resembles an NCAA Championship field. The 18-team tournament has 11 teams in the top-25 of the Golfweek Sagarin Performance Index, including six of the top-7 teams. Individually the tournament will have 22 of the top-50 ranked individuals, including 15 of the top-25.

NEW MEXICO IN THE POLLS: The Lobos are ranked fourth in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. UNM was ranked first in the index after opening the season with a victory at the Topy Cup. New Mexico trails only Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State and Georgia all teams in the Carpet Capital Collegiate. Individually the Lobos have one players ranked in the top 50. Junior Spencer Levin is the top ranked golfer with a 67.78 stroke average Levin has finished first twice and second in three tournaments this season.
