The University of New Mexico men's golf team will try to earn their third consecutive MWC Championship this weekend. The Lobos will travel to the Crosswater Course in Sunriver, Ore., on April 28-30 for the MWC Championships. UNM is the two time defending champion and will look to make it three in a row and earn a spot in the NCAA Regionals.
OPENING DRIVE: The University of New Mexico men's golf team will travel to the MWC Championship this weekend in Sunriver, Ore. The three day tournament will take place on April 28-30, with 18-holes played each day. Joining head coach Glen Millican at the MWC Championships will be seniors Madalitso Muthiya and Miguel Griego, juniors Jay Choi and Spencer Levin and sophomore Charlie Beljan.
THE COURSE: The MWC Championship will be played at the par-72, 7,568 yard Crosswater Course at Sunriver Resort.

THE FIELD: The field for the MWC Championship is made up of eight teams with four of them ranked in the top-50. The field consists of UNLV (4), New Mexico (5), BYU (13), San Diego State (49), Air Force, Colorado State, Utah and Wyoming.
NEW MEXICO IN THE POLLS: The Lobos are ranked fifth in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. UNM was ranked first in the index after opening the season with a victory at the Topy Cup. New Mexico trails only Oklahoma State, Georgia, Georgia Tech and UNLV.
Individually the Lobos have two players ranked in the top 100. Junior Spencer Levin is the second ranked golfer with a 68.65 scoring index. Levin has won three times and finished second in five tournaments this season. Sophomore Charlie Beljan is 62nd with a 71.16 index rating.
