HOUSTON, Texas - The No. 4 University of New Mexico men's golf team is tied for fourth after the first round of the 19-team Hall of Fame Invitational. The Lobos shot a 4-over par 292 on the par-72, 7,352 yard Redstone Golf Club in Houston, Texas. The team lead belongs to TCU at 3-under par.

Individually UNM was led by sophomore Charlie Beljan who shot a 3-under par 69 and is in second three strokes behind leader Kyle Reifers of Wake Forest. Other Lobo results were junior Spencer Levin is tied for third at 2-under par, junior Jay Choi is 4-over par tied for 52nd, senior Madalitso Muthiya is tied for 62nd at 5-over par and junior Mark Anderson is tied for 8th at 8-over par.

The Hall of Fame Invitational continues with the second round tomorrow and concludes on Sunday with the third round. Full results and live scoring can be seen at www.golfstat.com.
