* New Mexico beats No. 9 BYU 86-77...the Lobos are now 15-7 overall and 3-4 in the Mountain West Conference

* UNM's last 3-game winning streak against BYU was 4 in a row during the 1999-2000 seasons

* This is the highest-ranked team UNM has beaten since taking down No. 8 Wichita State 71-68 in Las Vegas on Dec. 22, 2006
