LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The 18th-ranked New Mexico men's golf team shot the third-best round of the day as a team to move up three spots in the second day of action at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship. The Lobos shot a 5-under 283 for the day. Overall, the Lobos are in 11th place with a score of 302-283-585 (+9).

Arizona State leads the field, which features five top 10 teams, with a 12-under 555 (279-276). Individually, Bill Haas of Wake Forest is in first with a 7-under 135 (68-67).

Spencer Levin jumped up 22 spots to move into a tie for 21st after carding a 5-under 67 on Saturday. He is 2-under for the tournament (75-67-142).

Ian Medlock also worked his way up the leaderboard, moving up 10 spots to sit in a tie for 33rd. Medlock, who eagled the 13th hole, is 3-over (75-72-147) heading into the final round.

Charlie Beljan shot even par in the second round and is 4-over at 148 (76-72) overall. He moved up from 56th to 39th on Saturday.

Jay Reynolds stands in a tie for 58th at 79-72-151 (+7) and Jay Choi is in a tie for 64th at 76-77-153 (+9).

The final round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship will take place Sunday, March 14.
